What is Fast Forward?
Fast Forward (ffwd.org) is a nonprofit accelerator and support organization founded in 2014, dedicated exclusively to scaling tech nonprofits: organizations that use technology as their core product to drive social impact. It is the first and only organization specifically built for this category, and since launch has supported 102+ tech nonprofits whose portfolio has attracted over $1 billion in cumulative follow-on funding and reached 262 million lives.
Fast Forward offers a flagship 3-month accelerator program, a Growth Accelerator for later-stage organizations, and a suite of free public resources including a Nonprofit AI Policy Builder, research reports tracking 250+ AI-powered nonprofits, playbooks on fundraising and impact measurement, a Tech Nonprofit Job Board, and a weekly grant-opportunity digest called Funding Forward.
For nonprofits that qualify, Fast Forward is completely free to access and participate in. The accelerator provides $25,000 or more in unrestricted grant funding to selected cohort members, along with expert mentorship, community, and connections to philanthropists. The free tools and resources are publicly available to any nonprofit organization without an application.

Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a registered nonprofit (501(c)(3) in the US or equivalent internationally)
- B-corps and for-profit social enterprises are not eligible
- Accelerator applicants must have a working MVP of a tech product
- Free public resources (AI Policy Builder, playbooks, directory) are available to all nonprofits without application
- Accelerator is designed for tech nonprofits: organizations whose core product is a technology platform
